I wanted to integrate Arabic in some command-line utilities so I found your repo. I like your work it looks nice, but I wanted to see if this will get any updates soon or it's dead. It still lacks bidi implementation so I thought I might implement it someday and make a pull request. But I found a pull request from 2018 that has not been merged yet. So I just wanted to know if this repo is still alive.

bidi is very welcome! and I'm thinking of refreshing this project due to the interest shown by the community.

The other PR lacks some tests, thanks for the heads up though, I'll probably update it myself & merge it soon.

@01walid the latest tag label is years ago. Updates are not included when the package is obtained by default go mod tidy instead they would have to do something like go get github.com/01walid/goarabic@3da18419feb6cd85c1415ed336f9052b9a468159. Can you please add new tag release?
