Hi @jeffpaul @qasumitbagthariya , The plugin has been tested with an upcoming version of WordPress 6.4 RC2 and found 1 issue as reported below. Issue found: #226 insert-special-character 1.1.1 |
@QAharshalkadu I've cross check with Wordpress 6.3 and got the same error. |
Hi @qasumitbagthariya @QAharshalkadu While working on another PR, I found 'Emoji' characters are working fine. Please refer this comment for more details about my steps, environment. #225 (comment) Can you check if this is due to any plugin conflict or browser add-ons? thanks! |
Thanks for your comment here @ankitguptaindia I have again cross-checked with WordPress: 6.4-RC3, and I am still getting the same issue. In my setup there are no any other active plugins, I also cross checked with different browsers. It seems like you've tested with WordPress: 6.5-alpha-57029, Can you please cross check with WordPress: 6.4-RC3 ? Screenshare.-.2023-11-04.8_04_41.PM.mp4 |
@qasumitbagthariya I have tested this issue with 6.4.1 and I could reproduce this issue when I install the plugin from the wordpress.org plugin directory and in the 1.1.1 version. But when I cloned this repository (develop branch) and tested again it works just fine. So it's safe to assume this is fixed in develop branch. Edit-Post-.Special-Char-Test.-.-MyWP-.-WordPress.mp4 |
Thank you for your detailed comment. I've cross-checked with the fresh setup in my local and instawp sites, still, I'm getting the same issue. Testing Environment
