using eleventy with a paid webserver

Hi I want to start a blog for an other non techy person who wants to update the blog by self.
I looked into various cms like ghost, decap, strapi and tinacms. Even thought about prose.io
The blog is image heavy. I already have a webserver with 1000GB storage. I want to use this storage but most of the CMS rely on github and the api based ones like ghost but everything into a database.
Whats the way to go using a ssg and still keeping a flat file system but also using my space on the webserver. Because I think github pages will not allow me so much disk space.
Can somebody help me out?
