using templateContent too early with transformWithHtmlBase and Eleventy 3.0 alpha 10?

Hi folks!

I have a relatively intricate site (which is my own fault!). I'm trying 3.0.0, and I'm on 3.0.0-alpha.10. I'm noticing that when I edit pages in watch mode, I very often get an error like this:

Note that the files seem to always build fine the first time running 11ty in watch mode, whether the output directory is clean or not.

By adding a console.log printout of name to

		this.addNunjucksAsyncFilter(name, async function (...args) {
			let cb = args.pop();
			let ret = await callback.call(this, ...args);
			cb(null, ret);
		});

I found that this seemed to be happening when evaluating transformWithHtmlBase. I use transformWithHtmlBase in two places, both cribbed from eleventy-base-blog, i.e. <content type="html">{{ post.templateContent | transformWithHtmlBase(absolutePostUrl, post.url) }}</content> and "content_html": {% if post.templateContent %}{{ post.templateContent | transformWithHtmlBase(absolutePostUrl, post.url) | dump | safe }}{% else %}""{% endif %}, in feed.njk and json.njk.

I commented those two invocations out, and it appears to completely stop the error.

This seems likely to be caused by something else I'm doing elsewhere, but this is where my debugging skills have come to an impasse.

I suppose a reasonable next step of mine is to try to reproduce this on eleventy-base-blog. Does anyone else have thoughts?
