User story

As a user, the accessibility of data is paramount. In this vein, the storage capacity of historical data is important for that accessibility. The owners of the site need to determine how much historical data can be retained without overburdening the storage capacity.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Queries for data have a specific historical cutoff, which assures the storage system is not over capacity.

This is done, but I wonder if we document this well enough. @smarina04 do you think that we should include the date ranges where it is possible to get data from in our API docs for each API version?
