Recently I submitted some changes for facebook which really didn't fit the design of the site. But in researching background info, it was clear that their documentation of the different 2FA methods wasn't all in one place. I've noticed this pattern at some other sites, too.

It might be nice to have links in the checkmark cells (or perhaps make the checkmarks themselves linkable) which provide site-specific documentation on actually setting up a given type of 2FA.

It's great to know where 2FA is available, but not all sites make it simple to find out how to set it up. This could provide more comprehensive coverage of each popular site's 2FA options, and specifically give users a quick jump-off point to the instructions on how to use a given option.

How is the proposed change different than the Docs link currently present?

It's different by exactly what you just said: it's currently a link (singular).

Several sites have different documentation pages based on the type of 2FA to be set up. In the case of Facebook which is the example here, they have all of the following which are not documented all in one place:

SMS: https://www.facebook.com/help/148233965247823

OATH via Facebook's mobile app: https://www.facebook.com/help/270942386330392

TOTP OATH via any other app: https://www.facebook.com/help/358336074294704

Sure, the current doc link (which is the SMS link above) has "related articles" listed, including ones that are unhelpful -- but isn't the point to get users to start using 2FA as easily and quickly as possible?

Really, this comes down to the question of whether twofactorauth.org is meant to be a site that says "look here and good luck", or "look here for setup instructions for your use case". The latter would need more comprehensive documentation linking capability.
