No sound in windows 7

Notifications produce no sound in windows 7 64, yes I set a sound for system notifications and all other notifications in windows settings and still nothing.

Apps notifications don't look like windows 7 notifications, they look like messed up windows 10 notifications, so windows 7 probably doesn't recognize them as windows notifications at all - hence no sound

Please show a picture of the notification. Which exact notification options did you try? Try a windows update if you can.

Someone reported a similar issue on windows 7 some time ago via email but I can't find anything about such an issue with the framework we're using.

I went personalize -> sounds and added a sound to every program event

We can keep this issue around, see if others on Windows 7 have any issue/solution.

Have you tested it on win7 and it works for you?

Win 7 here, no sound on my notifications as well. Windows notification is on by default.
Would be nice to have a custom sound as workaround.
