It should only be made available on single and multiple metadata items but NOT on type folders.

If a folder is among the selected, the option should not appear / work for security reasons.
important: This should only work on files (or folders created for a single asset)

Before actually deleting, the user should be asked to confirm that they actually want the LISTED and PRESELECTED items to be deleted

you should be using the new format:

mcdev delete cred/bu -m type:key type:key2 type2:key3

It should always be asked the user if they wish to delete or not.
