Generic List contains more than 8 items not working with custom rewriter #3482

Required Information

  • AEM Version 6.5.21 (On Prem)
  • ACS AEM Commons Version: 6.9.6
  • Reproducible on Latest? Yes

Expected Behavior

After upgrading ACS Common from 5.3.4 to 6.9.6, in authoring instance, existing generic lists should open in authoring mode when clicking on properties button from tool bar.

Actual Behavior

After upgrading ACS Common from 5.3.4 to 6.9.6, in authoring instance existing generic lists are not opening when clicking on properties button from tool bar. It opens a blank page in new tab.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start a AEM 6.5.21 vanilla instance on your local having ACS common 5.3.4 with some generic lists.
  2. Build and deploy custom rewriter with order greater than 1.
  3. Upgrade ACS Common 6.9.6
  4. Open generic list having more than 10 items.
  5. Should see a blank page.

I can't reproduce it on my local 6.5.21 + ACS Commons 6.9.6
Are there any exceptions in the error log?

Can you try with custom rewriter. I will check the logs and share.
