[BUG] Breaks all camera apps on opening this app

What platform are you using?

OS Version

Android 14 on the device ROG Phone 7 Ultimate with Stock ROM.

What happened?

All camera apps including stock stopped working after installing the app. It just showed black screen when opening any camera app including stock and this app itself.

Only restarting the phone fixes it till I open this app again. Then all camera apps break again.

@Anutrix sorry to hear that. must be an issue with androidx camera. Can you get a logcat?

I uninstalled it as I was worried for my phone.

I can try reinstalling it. Does the app have any option to generate logs?
I don't want to provide full adb logcat.

I tried reinstalling it a few times.
It seems the issue doesn't start on installing or opening the app.
When we click the camera icon for the first time, it gives a popup asking for autoscan.
The camera works in while this popup is visible.

But the moment we click either of the 2 options(enable/disable), the camera freezes and breaks.
Reopening this app or any other camera app show black screen till phone restart.

@Anutrix Thanks for the details. I get crash reports when the app crashes, but there as it freezes i dont get anything.
I understand you not wanting to share a full logcat here. Would you be ok sharing it with me directly by mail: contact at akylas dot fr ?
