I can send messages but don't see if someone sends one to me

same here, the cli doesn't fetch last chat lines, can not see the respond from friends.

npm version 7.20.2

Seems like a common issue but this seems like it's now "abandonware" as bug reports are not being responded too and no new code posted in 3+ years.
