We recently went from a 2 PC setup to a 3 PC setup as we are a duo / couple streaming on Twitch.
This is the current equipment we have & how it is configured with our Rodecaster Duo.
2 Rode XLR Mics plugged into the Duo.
Streaming PC plugged into the Duo via USB 1.
Gaming PC 2 plugged into the Duo via USB 2.
We each have a headset to hear all audio that is plugged into the Duo.
Gaming PC 1 & Gaming PC 2 each have their own capture cards going from their PC to the streaming PC. Looks like we have figured out how to hear our PC gameplay through the capture card into the audio mixer.
In our previous setup we had is setup via ASIO for all individual sources to come in individually through OBS.
We downloaded the asio software off of Rodes website.
We downloaded the ASIO plugin for OBS.
We installed Reaper but I am getting an error that says:
There was an error opening the audio hardware:
Error initializing ASIO driver
We had this all-setup last week & now it seems like nothing with the ASIO stuff is working. We have uninstalled the software & plugin, reinstalled but still nothing.
How can get I get all the different channels to show up into OBS for the different sources?
I am not sure if maybe there is a bug with Rode's ASIO software or an issue with the OBS plug-in but I also don't know how to determine which it would be or how to go about fixing it.
