Don't recall ever seeing an issue with this test before so a bit surprising.

@spoonincode do you think it is fine to target 6.0.0 for this? Or do we need to look into it deeper as a sign of a potential issue that would need backporting?

Let's do a quick look on this to determine if there is a more serious issue at play that needs to be fixed prior to 5.0.0 stable.

This test should just be removed. That is covered by #2232.
