Intel 9462, weird freeze #40
Comments
can't provide a log if my laptop froze tho... |
@lgariv It’s an issue related to the 802.11 overhaul I started last night, I think. I’ll try and fix it soon. |
@lgariv I've just tried to fix this once again, would you mind testing? |
@hatf0 it's not freezing now, but no networks listed |
@lgariv Please pull logs with |
Looks like your device potentially crashed while attempting to scan for the first time.
Typically, if a device gets stuck with getScanning() == true, it means that the scan request did not go through and crashed before it could get anywhere. |
looks a little bit better, still scanning isn't working after it finds something |
This was an actual issue with my logging script, and it's not your fault. @lgariv would you mind pulling the repo again and using the latest logging script and uploading that log file? |
I've also got a 9462 which I had to manually add into IWLDeviceList.h that also freezes the laptop as soon as it's loaded. |
For some reason, the first time I loaded the latest version it was working way better then it did yesterday (before the latest changes), but after that - I load the kext, go to system preferences, and when I press on anything wi-fi related my laptop just freezes completely.
