I created an account but later realized I would be fine without one (as I can properly review and mark items from Stack Overflow), so I headed over to the Account Settings page and clicked "Cancel my Account". Pressed OK and waited... an error message.
When I visited the network in devtools it showed as a 500 error. Very generic, but enough to signify that there's nothing odd on my part. I'm using Windows 10, Chrome browser Version 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (64-bit). Please ask for more details if any are required.
I also attempted to deauthorize it but this time nothing at all happens. I click OK and [pause here] that's it. Nothing on the page changes, it's still part of my authorized apps. When I explicitly unauthorized it from my profile, I still own my account (as I expected) and I can still deauthorize it from the Sentinel dashboard. What?
I haven't made any feedback, just browsed reviews. Anyways, I just wanted to know how to properly delete my account. Since it's a server error, I'm posting it here where the open source community can all respond, and hopefully the project owners or someone else can investigate this and come up with a proper fix. Thank you for all your time. Have a great day.
