Today there is only the option to mark an individual element as read by swiping to the left or right. An option to mark items above as read with a swipe would be a quicker solution than selecting by long pressing and selecting in the list.

A third swipe option is therefore desired:

  1. mark as read
  2. mark as starred
  3. mark above as read
