To anyone who is reading this thinking of going down the live link path. Don't. Use another software, do not use Maya. Autodesk simply has no intention of keeping their stuff up to date, we've been waiting for an update for this for years, and when they finally did release something, it still does not support 5.3 because they could not simply recompile for 5.3, it would have taken work to update it. Work that Autodesk is not doing, therefore, it is better to switch to Blender which has caught up to Maya in 2024, and is compatible with Maya workflows. Sadly, our company will not be renewing our subscription this year. We're paying through the nose for this software, it's not fair that we have to beg for features when Blender users are getting everything under the sun for free. Goodbye, Autodesk.

I wonder what is taking them so long? Budget is not an issue. They take thousands and thousands of dollars in subscriptions because no one can get a permanent license. This plugin is a peak requirement for real-time rendering. Give the plugin back to Epic Games if you lazy devs don't wish to continue it.
