Avalonia v11.0 Preview 5 - Project Status

With the release of Avaonia v11 Preview 5 on 2023-02-03, we are quickly at work to support the latest version for you. Since this is a BIG update from Prev 4, there are breaking changes that need to be carefully taken care of. By big, I mean this release contains 1,422 commits and 1,947 file changes.

Why do we care so much about samples and unit tests? Well, even though the system has been upgraded, we need to ensure that basic functionality is still provided.

  • Fix the sample, ViewDiscovery. Broken since v11 Preview-1.

Stretch Goals

• IDialogService allow for callback to be optional

• Code generator for data bindings and extensions (separate 'toolkit' package)
