Is there an API i can call in Azure Media Player to disable seeking (or hide the seek bar altogether)?
Hiding seek bar with CSS could be an option, however i would try to stay away from UI hacks.

Sorry, no, i gave up, no clear API to accomplish that, i'm sure that given enough time and JavaScript it can be accomplished by selecting and disabling the seek bar DOM element but i'm going to sit this one out.
