I would like to change the account password, but I don't see an option to do so on bstats.org.
Please consider adding this ability, thanks.

currently there is no automated why to do this.

use this tool https://www.browserling.com/tools/bcrypt
Enter your new password, select 12 rounds and send bastian the generated hash as a private message on Spigot: https://www.spigotmc.org/members/btobastian.87698/

I don't actually have an account on the spigot forum, but anyway, I suggest to add this ability to make it self-service.

I'm currently working on a rewrite of bStats which will use Firebase Auth for authentication.
This will allow you to add an E-Mail address to your account which can be used to automatically resert your password. You will also be able to login with a third-party provider such as Google, Twitter or GitHub and thus may not need a password at all.

Bump, it's really needed now, is something going on with this? Or can we somehow help?

Then what happens with old accounts?

This issue was discussed on discord some time ago. Firebase has a feature to import the user's account.
Then users can log in with the old password and bind their own email to change the password.
