I tried to flash a recovery image to a Galaxy S5 (kltexx) device from Ubuntu 14.10 using heimdall 1.4.0-2 and later the git master branch.

sudo heimdall print-pit --verbose

@bdrung sorry wrong pull request. #231 has initiation fixes. It is for OSX but also fixes similar issues on other platforms.

Hmm. Tried rebooting the phone for giigles, and now I get:

So, I had a similar problem with a SM-G900P (Sprint S5) using 1.4.1-5 (from Fedora 23 main-line).

Anyway, if you still have this phone, it's fixed as of what I cloned from master today and built/ran.
