Every time you reload the page (command-R), you want to see the gene info page

Shouldn't the default page be the "Getting Started" page?

I think I agree with @Yukthiw . For the Gene Info page I think the options should disappear, similar to the way they disappear for the other viewers...that area takes up quite a bit of real estate.
