@openledgerdc I cannot verify your message. I suspect it is due to github parsing #1 as link, can you please enquote your message in |

I am in complete support of this. Unofficial "partnerships" that end up being announced by potential bad actors will ultimately cause the trust in Bitshares to wane, destroying value for the entire ecosystem. |
I support this idea officially or "unofficially" this is my thumbs up!!! |
I support this @btsfav. ---- Signed: jotmax ---- |
I "officially" stamp my approval... The community "consensus" means that we have to have consensus on "official" matters. We have the tools!! |
I completely support this! This is so great! |
This is a really good proposal.None should be able to announce anything under the Bitshares name without majority support by the committee. I can not see why someone would not agree to this statement. Great thing fav |
I support this effort. |
I fully endorse this statement. We need to reinforce the idea the only "official" statements can come from shareholder collective vote results. |
I agree with this proposal |
I support this, we should be pushing the use of 'Collaboration' instead of 'Partnership' as appropriate terminology when declaring an integration/use of the Bitshares network. |
Supporting the proposal, hoping that will work out. |
I fully support this and agree with the proposal. |
I support this... |
-----BEGIN BITSHARES SIGNED MESSAGE----- It's impossible to strategically partner, partner, alliance, et patati et patata with BitShares without Stakeholder endorsed voting via the Blockchain. Thanks ihashfury |
I support this proposal. Committee members that not agree and do not want to sign, please, make a statement here to bring more transparency to the community. Thanks |
Ditto! Dear BitShares Stakeholders It's impossible to strategically partner, partner, alliance, et patati et patata with BitShares without Stakeholder endorsed voting via the Blockchain. Thanks! |

First of all, what does a partnership with BitShares even mean? Second, note that partnerships require partners. Therefore a partnership with "BitShares" can only make sense if it is with the BitShares stakeholders and whatever mechanism that is decided upon by those stakeholders for express consent. Currently, the process that comes closest to this expression by stakeholders is through a vote on a worker proposal. |
I principle I agree with this. There is a difference between using the blockchain and/or building on it and saying we are a partner of BitShares or partnering with BitShares. |
Due to continuous misuse of the BitShares Brand name, I propose to publicize the following message, signed via committee-account, please voice your support via a signed message, and/or give feedback in the text used.
Dear BitShares Stakeholders,
Please note that it's impossible to strategically partner, partner, alliance, et patati et patata with BitShares without Stakeholder endorsed voting via the Blockchain.
Any announcements are null and void.
Thank you,
The BitShares Committee
