At Freedom of the Press Foundation, we are developing a service that will use redmine_openpgp and that we are trying to launch as soon as possible. In the process of setting up this service, we have filed numerous bugs and feature requests; for some of the bugs, we have filed pull requests that fix them. Unfortunately, we have seen no activity on these issues or pull requests for some time now, and we have seen no activity on this repo in general since mid-September.

As a result, we intend to fork this project to freedomofpress/redmine_openpgp within the next week and continue development in the open on that fork. If you decide to continue active development on this repository, we're happy to consider upstreaming our changes at that point and returning to using this repo as the canonical location of development for this project.

We have now forked, and work continues in the develop branch: https://github.com/freedomofpress/redmine_openpgp/tree/develop

@AnneGilles, @garrettr, @ageis : As a user, which plugin should I use? If the freedomofpress repository has more activity, should this become the default upstream? More concretely: Where to file issues? (The freedomofpress repo currently doesn't have issues enabled)

In any case, thanks for that great plugin - it would be great to have it working against current redmine again (see #19).

@nidico : We'll have to sort that out. The differences are still easily managable and their activity also dropped after their most urgent changes, which I will revise around next month. We still use our repository but certainly want to include their changes, if appropriate. As @garrettr pointed out, they might still be open to rejoin.

As their issuetracking is deactivated, it would be reasonable, to track issues here. If they are specific to their fork, I'll just put them on hold until the relevant part of the fork is merged.
