It would be useful for this project to have an automated and easily reproducible development environment, e.g. using Vagrant.

I already use a vagrant script myself, although it is a bit specialised. It includes an optional mail web interface for easy mail access (although not very useful regarding pgp encryption) and a complete restore script for our redmine instance. I'll be happy to share it, but first I want to check with @AnneGilles if I should put it into the C3S group or not, as there are also some other vagrant boxes I want to publish

@timegrid Sounds great, I'd love to see your Vagrantfile included in the repo. It would greatly reduce the barrier to entry for outside contributors 😃
