Installing Xen using "make xen"

Hello

I was trying to install the gxen following the instructions. I am getting stuck while making the instruction make xen . I am getting error in the assembly file entry.S in /home/duttasankha/Desktop/SANKHA_INSTANCE_2_ALL/RESEARCH_ALL/2_GPUVM/gxen/xen/arch/x86/x86_64. The error is as follows

entry.S: Assembler messages:
entry.S:53: Error: incorrect register `%r11' used with `w' suffix

I am installing in ubuntu 16.10 version with kernel version 4.13.0-41-generic. Please let me know if there are any further information is required. I would very much appreciate if someone could address this error. I would like to mention that I made some changes in the Config.mk file suppressing the -Wall -Werror flags. I am looking into the error but I would really appreciate if someone could address this error and help me to install gxen. Thanks.
