@ribose-jeffreylau I noticed we've added a number of codes that mean the same thing:

  • mext-jpn-hrkt-latn-kunrei when we have mext-jpn-hrkt-latn-1954
  • lshk-yue-hani-latn-jyutping when we have lshk-yue-hani-latn-1993

Is this intentional?

This brings out two questions:

  1. Do we accept duplicate codes for alias?
  2. Do we accept "parent system" codes, for example, in bas-rus-cyrl-latn-2017 we have bas-rus-cyrl-latn-2017-bss and bas-rus-cyrl-latn-2017-oss. The parent codes will be ambiguous but may be useful?

Right now my answer to 1 is no, I've removed those from the code list.
