Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Current Behavior

If you select the "Simple" basemap and switch projections from 3857 to 3978, the viewer will:

  1. Automatically switch back to the transport basemap once the projection switch has happened. Ignoring the personalized basemap settings.
  2. But if you go into the basemap menu, it is has if the "Simple" basemap is still active although it is not:

Expected Behavior

  1. Basemap should stay the same when switching projection
  2. Whatever the circumstances, the proper active basemap should be reflected in the basemap menu.
