I am not able to make the filter work as expected. Could you give an example of how to use the filter? Say I want to see the keystrokes only when it is notepad (notepad.exe) and calculate (calc.exe)

I'm having trouble with the filter as well. It looks like #233 intended to fix it but was never merged.

oh!! Also, it looks like nothing is updated since June 2020. Well except for the filter function Carnac is perfect. Hopefully they update it soon because I tried a bunch of software and this is one I found to be the best. It has everything except the filtering function. I am looking for software that displays keystroke only when I am using specific software. Would be great if filtering works as intended.

The filter function is also very useful in my case. I would like "filtering out except certain keys". Recently Opera browser for some reason needs entering Enter key two times in the Address bar to make it start visiting the website. I was wondering if Opera got a problem or my keyboard was the problem. The tricky thing is this issue happens intermittently, from times to times. So I have used Carnac to detect the root cause, and opened Carnac all the time, which is annoying because it emits all keystrokes!

Looking forward to having the Filter feature fully supported.

I couldn't find any example on using the filter function. None whatsoever.
I need to exclude ZoomIt64.exe's keyboard shortcuts and tried this regex: "^(?!ZoomIt64.exe$)"gm
Unfortunately didn't work.
