It'd be nice if our test suite could also test for core collecting to actually work, not sure how realistic this is though since this will need:

Either root access or some other way to reap the coredumps without it
If we can't reap the coredumps manipulate the sysctl value of the test system
Clean up afterwards

All of which sounds either annoying or super fragile.
