Joining The Team
We're currently looking for people to join the Collaborating Platypus/PetaPoco team. The following teams are accepting people. Do you have a little spare time and have the skills, we'd really like your help!
If you'd like to join any of these positions, please open an issue detailing the team(s) you'd like to join and a little about yourself.
As a maintainer you will be responsible for writing code, accepting code reviewed PRs, and getting ready the next release. Additionally, you would most likely want to be involved with the discussion of issues and give your input for potential new features/new direction.
As a code reviewer, your responsibility will be to QC PRs. You should be confident with .net and c#. You'll most likely have a be interested in PetaPoco, but not necessarily have much time to spend contributing to the day-to-day work.
If you really enjoy good documentation and don't mind writing either, then this could be the spot for you. Often OSS neglects the documentation side of their project, which is a shame because it's rare to find a great product without great docs!
As a person on the triage team, your responsibility will read through new issues, label according to the content and supply help if needed. Triage can be a great start for somebody who is time poor but wants to help out. It can also be a great place for somebody who doesn't have the confidence yet to contribute, as understanding problems is a great way to learn (Perhaps you can suggest the appropriate fix?)
PetaPoco is proudly maintained by the Collaborating Platypus group and originally the brainchild of Brad Robinson
