The menu category “image” is selected but there is no visual representation that it’s the active menu item

Impact on the user

If the user is not shown explicitly the active tab, there is a risque that the user might not be able to locate himself.
The easier the application navigation is, the better the application performance with fewer errors from user’s.

Recommendation

Following the convention used in the application for the active menu item. The tab “images” should be shown in focus.
