  • Add instructions for backing up lab computers to fileserver

This could be worth adding as a checklist item for senior lab members (or anyone who would be using a lab-owned computer). The only potential issue is that new lab members will likely work through the onboarding process before a computer is purchased, shipped, given to them, etc. Thoughts?

Can we add a note saying that they "promise to set up regular back ups to the lab fileserver within 1 week of receiving or setting up their lab-owned computer"

note: this requires fixing the fileserver so that it can be accessed again 😬
