New rewards for commenting uncommented news/pages. We drastically need to address the burning issue of 0 comments made under the front page indie news (which should have been elevated to the critical status a long time ago and not ignored). Suggestions:
10 times more activity points for the first 10 comments on an uncommented news/game/mod/group page (just doubling/tripling it may not be a good enough measure)
notification/warning box at the top that members posting new comments receive 10 times more activity points (and hidden when the news/game/mod page in question has over 10 comments?)
some better anti-spam measures as well to balance it a little bit?
Perhaps rewards just for page hits as well. Some other networks give activity points for merely visiting & reading unread pages.
Sorry if this sounds like a demand, but we should no longer allow this 0 comments / mere 200-300 hits trend to continue. Not sure why this is not considered a grave issue. 0 comments on almost all the home page news not only looks unprofessional but it makes the IndieDB/ModDB/VRDB/SlideDB site look like a graveyard.
