Comment from Oliver Vogels (Univ. of Cologne) at CAA 2018: "Using the mean in the transitionFunction here https://github.com/eScienceCenter/SiteExploitationTerritories/blob/master/R/SiteExploitationTerritories.R#L123 isn't producing an anisotropic result. This could be changed by using the original gdistance function."
