Hey,

i'd just like to understand if the BBIO1 mode is supposed to work? Currently the homepage is mentioning the BBIO1 mode. When trying to connect to it using the second serial port, the main terminal seems to lock, doesn't print any message and the BBIO1 port never answers with BBIO1 (or anything). I found a post, where its talked about implementing a better protocol then BBIO1. So i'm not sure whats the current state of this mode? Is it supposed to work? If so, at least in the latest firmware build it doesn't seem to function.

The short answer is that there will be no backwards compatibility with BP3 BBIO
