Fanny wants to use data from other apps #94
Comments
Whether I press "Allow" or "Don't Allow", Fanny has the same set of files open (per Activity Monitor -> View -> Inspect Process -> Open Files and Ports), although perhaps there was a momentary access that I didn't see.

After a long-overdue MacOS update, I started getting the following unhelpful/obscure message every time Fanny starts:
"Fanny.app" would like to access data from other apps.
I don't see a reason why Fanny would need to access to data from other apps, so I am inclined to press "Don't Allow". However, it's annoying and slightly concerning.
Is this expected? If so, is there any way to permanently disable this message?
My info is as follows:
Fanny: v2.3.0
MacOS: 15.1.1
MacBook Pro 2018 (Intel-based)
