SCTE-35 in xml format

Latest SCTE specification "ANSI/SCTE 35 2020 - Digital Program Insertion Cueing Message" specifies the alternative XML format for SCTE 35 messages:
"urn:scte:scte35:2013:xml: an XML representation of an SCTE 35 message containing either a
Signal.SpliceInfoSection element or a Signal.Binary element..."

This format is not supported in dash.js.
Does DASH IOP support this format? The latest version I have specifies only support for messages in urn:scte:scte35:2013:bin or urn:scte:scte35:2013:xml+bin formats

Example of MPD containing a SCTE-35 EventStream in XML format:

According to IOP v.5 urn:scte:scte35:2013:xml should be supported:

The SCTE 214-1 [10] / 214-3 [11] specification defines a set of event schemes for carrying SCTE-35. The appropriate
event scheme to use depends on the utilized DASH mechanism, DASH MPD Events may use either
urn:scte:scte35:2013:xml or urn:scte:scte35:2014:xml+bin.
