The "Abandon" option does show and is clickable, as is the question if one is sure about it. But it doesn't do anything.
Possibly there is a server command that can be made available for that?

The "abandon" option in the codex (quest list menu) does work consistently, the "abandon" option when right clicking on the quest list sidebar doesn't. It does seem to work after ignoring, unignoring, and then accepting a quest, for some reason. When it fails to work, no network message is sent for it.
