SBOM Generation Capability

Hello,

The Dependency-Track webpage and documentation appear to have conflicting information about the capability of the tool to actually generate SBOMs.

The webpage seems to suggest that the tool can actually generate the SBOM itself. https://dependencytrack.org/

However some of the documentation seems to suggest the generation of the SBOMs occur outside of Dependency-Track

So is the tool actually capable of SBOM generation? Thanks in advance to current users of the software.
