Project organization and view (Fontend)

Hi. So I am not sure if perhaps I haven't grasped a concept correctly or if my use case is truly not supported by the frontend

When creating a project and the add 4 versions to that I intuitively would have thought that that single project just gets multiple version and in the project view I only see the project with its most recent version and perhaps a count of how many versions this projects has.

As I can see every single version I add adds a new project though. I find this pretty consuming as It doesn't really make it easy to find anything in the project view. I have the problem currently solved as that I am Creating a project as a Directory and add my version as children so I have some kind of hierarchy. That doesn't allow me though Inherit tags I believe and It feels like a big hack. (I have attached a image of my current solution)

Am I missing something?
