This post is work in progress. I will jot down some ideas to discuss, and will format them better later. Please share what you think!
Now that we have DS, amongst other features, there are Teams.
Specific teams can be "pinged" and notified in issues/PRs and throughout the organisation.
Currently we just have "maintainers"
What we could do, is make a team for each semester of students, and add/remove them as time passes.
However, this might contradict the idea of what we want DS org to be.
It could just be that we want DS to be used only by those who have stuck around and will be here long term
Other places use teams for areas (like front end/back end). We could have a team of reviewers. Or, we could have teams based on a project.
