  • Modifying exchange permission during spawning is useful for the grading or student server which runs on kubernetes cluster. Thus we can control what the permission on the student side should be.
    • personalized-inbound option requires the spawner to create personalized-inbound directory if one does not exist. Therefore, spawner needs rw access to the nbgrader shared directory. This also applies for personalized-outbound
