We get the SoC from the devicetree in guess_soc_from_devtree. However, there are still lots of vendor with an incomplete list of SoCs which can be extended. Mainly, the vendors that need better support are:

On top of the improvements to specific SoC vendors in the device tree detection, the new SoC detection in 7d786ca should also improve significantly the resilience of the program. Closing.
