Knife losing durability when deployed on belt

Describe the Bug

I have a deployer with an iron knife attached to a belt cutting warped mushroom colonies from Nether's Delight, the knife is losing durability and breaking despite the tooltip saying "Not consumed".

Reproduction Steps

N/A

Expected Result

For the knife to last indefinitely when used in this manner.
