I think it would be really cool if this port copied the openbsd behaviour of giving you three tries to get the password correct.

Is this something that could be achieved in the port?

This was recently implemented upstream with doas 1.91 for OpenBSD 7.0.

Can this be expanded to 10 tries or something? 3 is too small a number for fast manual correction
