I tried to find information about if Privacy Badger also protects against the TrustPID plans. Until now, there seem to be no information available at the website.
Can I even click "Yes" on such sites and Privacy Badger will protect me?
Looks like first websites started to use this. The screenshot is not from me, but it seems that this is already tested for some users. Here a Screenshot from German FAZ page

How does TrustPID work on a technical level? There are some suggestions in this Twitter thread.
If this involves third-party JavaScript, Privacy Badger might learn to block it, but I can't say without learning more. Also, it sounds like it may be hard to see how this works for yourself if you don't have a cell plan from one of the participating carriers.
If this (Europe-only?) system is opt in only (in Europe), why would anybody opt in?

The thing is that it looks exactly like any other cookie banner. People like I use Privacy Badger and then simply click "yes" because this is the fastest way to get rid of the annoying banner. So, for TrustPID, I would click "yes" immediately without recognizing that this small written text does not asking for cookie consence. So I like to be sure that Privacy Badger is protecting me from this sort of evil, too.
