Currently, the ESMValTool output in the process tasks shows the last tagged ESMValCore and Tool release

It would be preferable for this to be the development version increment of the current clone.

See notes on how that works in the ESMValCore 2.11 release discussion here and this reference in the docs to setuptools-scm.
