This link points back to its parent-directory

lrwxrwxrwx 1 gdicker cseg 55 Dec 31  2023 /glade/p/cesmdata/cseg/inputdata/ocn/jra55/jra55 -> /glade/campaign/cesm/cesmdata/cseg/inputdata/ocn/jra55/

and caused some problems using scp -r. Does it have to be there?

@dazlich, if you recall anything about jra55 data could you take this on?
