Slow download speed with speed tests #236
Comments
I just ran a speedtest with 133 running on Windows 7 on speedtest.net and I don't see this behavior here. |
You are right, for whatever reason, speedtest works right now. Could you try nperf.com, or this one: https://www.sfr.fr/mire-test-debit/ ? These two show the issue here. Thanks. |

First, a big massive thank you for providing the many Vista/7 users with continuous updates to our daily browser.
I am running the current 133 on Windows 7 64 bit. Everything is fine except for asymmetrical transfer speed with speed test sites like nperf.com, speedtest.net etc.
Download test starts at nominal speed (350 Mb/s) but slows down to 10/20 Mb/s after a few seconds. Upload test is fine, and remains at nominal speed all the time. This occurs on all tests.
On the same machine, the exact same tests with Firefox 115.18.0esr do not show this issue, download and upload speeds remain at nominal all the time.
Let me know if you need more tests.
